St. John's reaches
out to the larger Frostburg community, the area youth, and Frostburg State
University. Our outreach projects include
"pennies for potatoes," leadership and support to the Interfaith Pantry (both of which
provide for local families and individuals in need) members
of the Parish contribute as individuals by participating in the local Meals on
Wheels program, CROP walks and lay Eucharistic Ministry. Two musicians of the
Parish provide "good-timey" music for local nursing homes and adult day care
facilities.
